Exercising for continual hours takes you a lot of energy. Therefore, after all the excercises have been performed, your appetite appears at once. The problem is that you don’t want to waste your work-out by overeating. So what do you have to do?
Consuming most energy on exercises means your weight loss process is going smoothly. You may feel hungry, so you should eat foods which are poor in energy and especially remember to stay away from the following foods:
1. Sugar and Fizzy drinks:
Being thirsty is the first and main feelling during the work-out. So which should you drink, mineral and energy water or fizzy soft drinks? It is advisable to stay away from these drinks as chemical sweeteners will kill your effort to lose weight. Sugar is the leading culprit causing obesity and lowering the body metabolism.
Do drink pure water for all the exercise practice as it can help you forget the appetite, stimulate the body metabolism, and excrete toxins and waste products from the body more quickly.
A piece of cake after the exercise doesn’t matter to your weight loss programme. However, if you overeat cakes, at the same time you take a lot of both starch and sugar, which is not good for your weight loss. You had better eat dried fruits, instead.
3. Salty Snacks:
Don’t think that you shouldn’t eat cakes, so you can take biscuits as biscuits and salty foods like sausage or polony, bacon… which contain much potassium. The amount of potassium in these foods will offset the lost source when you do weight loss exercises. However, they are extremely rich in calories, which will ruin your effort to exercise. So, do eat a banana or an apple which can help implement potassium without weight gaining.
4. Milk Chocolate:
Milk chocolate is a high calorie food, which offsets the energy deficiency of the body. White chocolate and black chocolate can aid in improving your memory, preventing oxidation, and reducing the risk of cancers.
If you are in favour of chocolate, you can eat a little before the activity. Don’t take it after doing exercise because this can make you gain weight quickly.
5. Fat Rich Foods:
There is a fact that fried foods with plenty of oil are extremely attractive to obese people as the fat can help create the appetite during eating. Nevertheless, remember that they are listed in the menu which includes foods you shouldn’t eat after losing weight because some of them contain a high level of cholesterol that is harmful to cardiovascular and that is the cause of the diabetes.
6. Energy cakes:
These cakes are not good for obese people as their nutritional level is too high, which speeds up the fat production. Thus, they are harmful to your weight loss programme. Even more important, if you have energy cakes for the evening, you may suffer from sleeplessness due to the intake of too much energy.
As you may know that bread contains a high level of starch, which is a kind of glucose. When you digeted too much, enzymes will convert glucose into sugar that cause you to gain weight and be obese. This has a negative impact on your sugar blood.
As a result, it is better to eat adequate vegetables, tubers, and fruits, or low calorie foods. Especially, remember to stay away from the foods I’ve mentioned above.
