anaerobic exercise- I refer to this as strength training or lifting weights. This type of exercise contributes to weight loss by increasing your resting metabolic rate.
Your resting metabolic rate will increase because it takes more energy to maintain muscles than it does fat.

1.Push ups- Yes good old push ups. Push ups would be an example of strength training. When you do a push up you are supporting around 70% 0f your body weight. This exercise will increase your metabolic rate. Do 3 sets of 25.
2.Jumping jacks- these are a great aerobic exercise for the entire body.
3.Stepping- This is a great aerobic exercise. Good for burning lots of calories. This will not only help you lose weight, but is great for toning your butt and thighs.
4.Walking- This by itself is a great aerobic exercise. Try getting a friend to join you. It will make it a lot funner.
5.Squats- Do about 2-3 sets of 20-30 repetitions. These are important because they target the buttocks and leg muscles. These are the largest muscles in our bodies.
